Tell us about pay and wellbeing Plus: Moonfare CEO on private assets empire
Citywire Amplify - asset management uncovered

There is an easy reason to take our pay survey: to find out what your peers are earning. That’s true whether you work in a distribution, fund management, leadership or operations role. But there is extra value in our survey too. We want to capture the links between pay and progression, moving or staying.

We’re also asking about wellbeing. Last week we polled you about stress at work and 44% of you fell towards the ‘extremely stressed’ end of the scale. Do you feel supported and valued for your hard work, or unappreciated and close to burnout? Does the firm you work for take mental health seriously? Tell us more in our survey for UK and European fund groups.

Marketable experience could soon include selling private asset products. We caught up with perhaps the most recognised name in private asset platforms, Moonfare. Selin Bucak hears from its founder about market growth and international scalability.

I’ve had a lot of conversations recently about thematic investing. Schroders CEO Peter Harrison has said that themes are the future. Amplify has found some of the top outperforming managers in the space.

And our ex-fund manager columnist David Roberts reflects on why we bother buying bonds at all, recalling how he resisted pressure from clients to buy for what he thought were the wrong reasons.

Take care.
