Selectors name fund service champions Plus spotlight on EM debt funds
Citywire Amplify - asset management uncovered

How well do you collaborate in product development? How easily can clients get hold of salespeople? How user-friendly is your website? These are among the aspects of service on which Citywire surveys UK and European fund selectors for our annual service reports – and awards!

They told us which factors they think are most important – this year it’s promptness of information – and named the groups they think are best in areas such as communication and relationship management.

We also hear from our editorial team in Spain. Selectors there claim their clients have little interest in ESG and are wary of greenwashing risks, writes Citywire España senior journalist Maddalena Liccione. In contrast, global private banks have welcomed the UK regulator’s plans for ESG labelling. Citywire’s GFI expert Margaryta Kirakosian hears their views.

And we once again drill into the funds taking and losing money, in our sector spotlight. This time, Frank Talbot looks at emerging market bonds. The sector has been battered, but some funds managed to add $1.5bn. Who are they? Read on to find out!
